Michael J. Butkus has been my longest running client. He came to me looking for a web presence for his long term stock investment company. He wanted a simple yet elegant design that didn't really have anything flashy but gave the needed details about his company, details about opening an account, and his performance reports.

This one means a lot to me because it was a great opportunity to serve my church using my talents. This is also the first website I made where I started practicing much better website design practices including proper use of CSS and DIV tags. I went with a more compact design so even someone with a 13 inch laptop wouldn't need to scroll. This required the implimentation of light box as well as cascading panes. I felt the idea worked. The church was slow to send a great deal of content to update the website with so it is often outdated, but the design worked well.

Link for website will be up soon.

This is one of my longer standing clients. Rick Clark really allowed me to use his website to experiment with web design and layouts. I wish I had kept all the changes that I had made to his site over the years to show how much it has improved. Unfortunately all of these changes left footprints of older code throughout the website. Recently I went in and completely redid the code to the website to match standards I use today. This included the use of DIV tags instead of tables, proper CSS use, and more imporantatly consistancy in layout and design. Reducing the number of fonts and giving all the images a border instead of having some have borders and some not.

Some work below are older projects that I have done, they may not be currently used. I put these in a seperate tab because, as you will see they are somewhat primative and they are not a great representation of my current skills, but still noteworthy so I put them up.
I did this website for the pre-engineering college when I attended Wayne State
I like the site I did for JID Sunrooms because it is one of the first that allowed me to exercise creativity and was the first professional site that I had created. I have learned a lot about website and graphic design since this site came out but the owner decided to close down the company so nothing came of it.
Amanda Mafilika had requested that I would design her photography site so I did. She was pleased with the results but later decided to go with a Flash page that offered a more interactive approach.

I graduted from Wayne State College with a bachelors in Computer Information Systems. I then worked at fiserv for two years and then decided to go back to school to get my masters in Instructional Technology. During that time I have been working on improving my skill and understanding with design and learning good design practices. I work for a department on campus that gives me the resources to learn more about design and encourages growth.
Please call if you are interested in setting up a website and we will see if I am the best fit for you otherwise I can recommend others who may be a better fit!
